Map Hunter II Competition Terms & Conditions

• These Terms and Conditions (referred to as the "Map Hunter II Terms") together with the General Terms of Service  ("Terms of Service") set forth the terms of an Agreement by which You, (the "Participant") and Soar.Earth Ltd whose registered business address is at Unit 3 / 128 Main Street Osborne Park, Western Australia, (“Soar”, “we”, “us”, our”), may participate from time to time in this competition and related activities as specified by Soar ("Map Hunter II").
• You must be at least 18 years of age to become a Participant and not barred from entry to the competition by any local laws regarding such competitions or the laws affecting Soar.
• To be eligible to receive prizes, you must be able to accept payment via PayPal by having an active PayPal account as well as an active Soar account.
• We reserve the right to change these Map Hunter II Terms at any time without notice.
• These Map Hunter II Terms are effective upon acceptance and govern the Participant's engagement in Map Hunter II  together with the General Terms of Service. In the event of the General Terms of Service  conflicting with the Map Hunter II Terms, the Map Hunter II Terms will take precedence.
• Map Hunter II is not open to Soar employees, associates or their family members, or anyone else connected to Map Hunter II.
• All entrants into Map Hunter II  shall be deemed to have accepted these Map Hunter II Terms.
• To enter Map Hunter II, you must follow the Competition Instructions, and submit your entry(s) as instructed. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.
• If you have any questions about how to enter or otherwise in connection with Map Hunter II, please email us at [email protected] with “Map Hunter II” in the subject line.
• You may enter the competition as many times as you like subject to reasonable limits and automated submission (including the use of AI) of entries is strictly prohibited.
• Should we determine you have made automated entries, we may at our sole discretion disqualify you from any prizes in the competition and should we disqualify you no correspondence will be entered into.
• Only individuals may enter the competition. Entries on behalf of another person or an organisation are invalid and joint submissions are not allowed and will not be eligible for any prizes.
• You are responsible for the cost (if any) of sending your Map Hunter II entry to us.
• We accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by us.
• Map Hunter II  opens on Monday 17 February 2025 at 9:00 pm Australian Western Standard Time (AWST / GMT +8). It will run for 8 weeks and closes 7 April 2025, 8:59:59 pm AWST. Entries received outside this time period will be void. All times or days referred to in the Map Hunter II Terms and instructions are based on the GMT +8 Time Zone

16. Prizes will be allocated as follows:

1. Three times per week  a screenshot of a hidden location on a map that is available on Soar will be posted on the official Soar account on X (@Soar_Earth)
2. Screenshots of the maps to find are posted every other week day i.e. Monday, Wednesday & Friday at times to be determined by Soar.
3. Each hidden map location will be worth from 1 to 3 Map Hunter Points, based on the amount nominated by Soar in the relevant post.
4. The first person to identify the map that the hidden location screenshot is from, and posts a screenshot of the location, the title and URL of the map from which the screenshot is taken and their Soar User Name as a reply to the relevant competition post on the official Soar account on X  will be awarded the nominated Map Hunter Points for that map.
5. Once the correct answer is posted on the competition post, the search for that specific map has ended and no other entries will be considered valid.
6. If the hidden location’s map is not found before the next map is posted, it remains available to find and the points can still be claimed. For example, if the first map for the first screenshot  posted is not found, entrants may claim the Map Hunter Points for that map at any time before the  close of Map Hunter II.
7. At the end of the 8 week period, the total Map Hunter Points for each entrant is totalled and the person with:

1. The highest points is declared the 1st prize winner
2. the 2nd highest points total wins 2nd prize and
3. The 3rd highest points total wins 3rd prize.

17. Prizes will be allocated as follows:

• 1st prize AUD $2,500
• 2nd prizeAUD $1,000
• 3rd prize AUD $500

18. If 2 people have the same Map Hunter Points total, the prize amount will be split between them using that prize level and the next prize level down e.g. if 2nd and 3rd place both have 15 Map Hunter Points they each get $750.
19. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for any other prize.
20. Winners will be notified by email and announced on the @Soar_Earth Channel on X.
21. The winner consents to the use by us and our related companies, both before and after the closing date of Map Hunter II for an unlimited time, of the winner’s voice, image, photograph and name for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by us and our related companies) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering Map Hunter II , all entrants consent to the same. Residents of jurisdictions where it is unlawful to require agreement to a perpetual publicity release as a condition of winning a prize shall not be bound by this paragraph.
22. We shall use and take care of any personal information you supply in entering Map Hunter II  as described in our Privacy Policy, and in accordance with data protection legislation and applicable law. By entering Map Hunter II, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your Map Hunter II entry, and for the purposes outlined above.
23. We accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering Map Hunter II  or accepting the prize. We further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with Map Hunter II.
24. We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, Map Hunter II with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). Our decision in all matters relating to Map Hunter II  is final and no correspondence will be entered into. In the event that Soar permanently discontinues Map Hunter II pursuant to this paragraph, the entrants in  Map Hunter II  shall be released from their obligations to Soar under these Map Hunter II Terms.
25. We shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations relating to Map Hunter II where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
26. Map Hunter II and these Map Hunter II Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and entrants to Map Hunter II submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
